Dexter Lanigan

President & Founder

Dexter Lanigan founded New Age Development Group in 2007 and has since taken a hands-on approach with every project the company undertakes. Upon graduation from high school, Dexter decided to enlist in the United States Marine Corp and serve our Country. Unfortunately, in 1999 while serving for the U.S.M.C. he was injured. It was determined that Dexter could no longer physically serve our Country and he was granted an honorary discharge. That experience was invaluable towards his personal growth and later that year he enrolled in the Carpenters Apprentice Program, becoming a Union Carpenter with Local 1856 out of Philadelphia.

For the past thirteen years, Dexter has grown New Age Development Group into a full-service General Contractor and Construction Management firm, with offices in Horsham, PA, the Philadelphia Navy Yard and soon to be Washington, DC area.

Due to Dexter’s Service Disabled Veteran status, New Age Development Group is also officially considered a Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) and has used this designation to seek and secure multiple construction contracts given through the United States Small Business Administration. These opportunities have allowed us to create a Government focused division which has seen steady and consistent growth year after year.

Debra Wolf

Controller

Debra brings over 15 years of professional experience to New Age Development Group. She has previously worked in the NHL, NASCAR, and Higher Education where she excelled in client relations. In her current role as Controller, she analyzes budgets, manages expenses, works collaboratively, and implements best financial practices which contributes to the success of the company. Debra holds a Bachelor’s degree from Michigan State University and a Master’s degree from Drexel University.

Kody Wilson

Director of Construction-South Division

I am pleased to introduce myself as Director of Construction/South Division for NADG with a proven track record of leading successful projects from conception to completion. With 27 years of experience in the construction industry in Florida, Texas and surrounding states, I have developed a deep understanding of every facet of the construction process, from project planning and budgeting to team management and site supervision.

Throughout my career, I have demonstrated a relentless commitment to delivering projects of the highest quality, on time, and within budget. My leadership style is characterized by fostering a collaborative and results-driven environment, where innovation and efficiency are paramount.

Steve O’Reilly

Senior Project Manager

Steve O’Reilly brings over 25 years of experience in Construction/Project Management in Retail, Commercial and Government sector. Previous employment includes National Drug Store chain and National Realestate Investment Trust (REIT). Steve oversees the estimating, the overall field work and ensures that company policies and procedures are met regarding safety, scheduling, budget, quality and customer satisfaction on his projects. Steve holds an OSHA 30 certification.

Terry Johnston

Senior Project Manager

Terry brings over 20 years of construction and management experience to New Age Development Group ranging from high-end residential, industrial, commercial, institutional, medical and mixed-use. Over the course of his career Terry has served in various roles including site foreman, site superintendent, project engineer, field superintendent, estimator, project manager, production manager and project executive. Terry has a bachelor’s degree from Mansfield University and serves as a member of the Tinicum Township Planning Commission.

John Bean

Senior Project Manager

John comes to New Age Development Group with over 25 years of experience in the construction industry. After honorable serving his country in the United States Navy aboard USS Saratoga -CV-60 during the Gulf War, "Desert Shield - Desert Storm". John came home and begun his career in the construction industry as an electrician helper. During John's 16 years of project management, he has had the privilege to design build data centers for Comcast in the Mid-Atlantic Region (Md, DC, WVa & Va), design build Prestige Preschool Academies from Virginia to Colorado, commercial retail projects across the DMV area as well as design build residential and commercial development projects. During this time, John's projects have carried a dollar amount ranging from 500k to 50 million.

Michael A Schick (Tony)

Senior Site Superintendent

Tony carries 26 years of commercial construction experience in his role as a member of New Age Development Group. His construction career began as a Commercial Operating Engineer for the local union of operating engineers in 1998 which took him all across the US from East to West coasts. While working across the US was trained / Certified / Master-Expact-SAT In MSHA N.A.T.M tunnelling methods which took him to 3 continents Digging, consulting and managing tunnels. *Dulles Airport walk back tunnels: 2004-2005 *Chelopech Mine Decline Tunnel: 2005-2007 *Devil’s Slide Project tunnels: 2007-2009 **NTKB DC White House: 2009-2011 *Rosslyn Metro Shaft & Tunnel: 2012-2014 *Government Projects DOD in State Department, FDA, US Bases, US Posts thru-out the DC area Building and renovating projects: 2014-2017.

In 2017 managed / ran the open cut tunnel for the new children’s center on NIH campus Bethesda, MD. He has finished at NIH campus multiple contract projects: 2017-2023 which has landed him here where he would work directly with New Age Development Group on the NIH campus which he is currently working on the NLM National Library of Medicine Renovation Bldg 38 project. He brings his experience in many areas of construction to include: NIH team-partner communication / supervision project management / estimations, optimalization of equipment, materials and time management having been part of teams from bid to completion on multiple projects. His day to day consists of onsite project work such as work in progress and planning, working directly with NADG team and subcontractors, owners, and architects. He works everyday first and for most by “Communication, ethics and Honor”.

Scott Lafoon Sr.

Project Manager

Scott Lafoon has been a detailed-oriented and disciplined project manager for over 19 years. He has over 35 years of construction industry experience including working as a carpenter, foreman and superintendent before starting with Project Management. Scott has worked at numerous places in the DMV which includes the National Institutes of Standards and Technology, Andrews Air Force Base, Smithsonian Institute, Washington Zoo, and various other government facilities.

Scott is currently working at NIH and started there as a Project Manager in 2005. He has managed numerous projects including small task order jobs, design build projects, office buildouts, lab renovations, and specialty construction projects. Scott started with New Age Development Group in July of 2022 and brings a wealth of experience concerning NIH protocol and working toward the successful completion of all assigned tasks.

Kyle Kendziuk

Business Development

Kyle oversees the company’s business development and preconstruction activities. Along with company operations, and quality control. Serving as a direct link between owners, architects, landlords, and subcontractors. Leveraging a multi-disciplined background and experience in construction, development, marketing, and business strategy. He has led over $300M and over 4M Sq. Ft. of retail, restaurant, office interiors, and multifamily projects across the Mid-Atlantic and South Eastern United States. Kyle holds a MSREI for Johns Hopkins University and a MBA from University of Michigan.

Shawn Peoples

Project Manager

Shawn carries 7 years of commercial construction experience in his role as a Project Manager for New Age Development Group. His construction career began as an intern for a union glazing subcontractor while attending Rowan University for Business Management, from where he received a Bachelor’s Degree in 2017. After graduating, he moved into an Assistant Project Manager roll, where he would work directly for New Age Development on the Community College of Philadelphia project.

In 2022, Shawn took on his roll at New Age and has been with us ever since. He brings experience in both project management and estimating to the table, having been part of the team from bid to completion on multiple projects. His day to day consists of internal project work such as billing and scheduling, and external work such as working directly with subcontractors, owners, and architects.
